Sugar What?

Here of late I've been watching a little show called Burn Notice.

Funny, smart, funny.

There's a gorgeous character on there named Fiona.  She's a spy of course.  Long, lean, smart, beautiful.  Men can't resist her.

So like me in many ways.

...but one.

In the last episode a fella watched her walk by and called out some comments and ended up calling her 'Sugar Bloomers.'

This is wrong.

How could anyone with an ounce of self respect allow herself to be called anything along those lines.

Huh?  I ask you.

Oh.

...nevermind

I'd be suing them for millions, I would. Identity theft!

I know! I deal with it daily, though. Constantly I see my body in fashion mags with someone else's face plastered over mine.

This must stop!

I love that show.
And I know exactly what you mean about identity theft... damn that Ernest Borgnine!

Let me guess, you put the show on pause in order to type up your original comment, and then when you unpaused it, you realized 2 things:

(1) Fiona was in the middle of a support op for Michael, and she couldn't blow her role just at that moment.

(2) Once Sam Axe had taken down the 2 bodyguards, Fiona had the tables turned on the guy, with a gun at his head, and a suggestion that he, "Wanna take a ride? Sugar Bloomers?"

Personally I'm grateful for the comment in the show, if taken out of context, because otherwise I would have never read up on Amelia Jenks Bloomer and the origin of her invention which eventually led to women wearing pants.
